Our Haflinger family.
Our friend, Margie Buyer, bred and raised these Haflingers on her 200 acre ranch in San Rafael Valley. Her stallion, Madaro, was bred to Mavis and Bonnie to produce these wonderful offspring. Mannette and Melody are out of Mavis by a beautiful stallion named A Real Deal. Margie now only owns Madaro and the rest have been sold. However, we know most of the owners, with Julie and Tom owning 3 of them and Doris and Alan owning 2. Mavis had 4 foals, Mannette, Melody, Mystic and Magic. Bonnie had 3 foals, all with Madaro, Pumkin, Mighty Love, and Buttercup.
Doris and Alan Leacy own Mystic and Melody.
Julie and Tom Mitchell own Magic, Buttercup and Bonnie.
Pumkin is owned by the Foleys. Mavis now lives in CA. Mannette lives in Tucson and Mighty Love is owned by Nora Keehn who now lives in S.C.
